What We Do

What We Do

The foremost goal of the Career Development Office is to support students in translating their liberal arts education to the workplace. Our advisers meet with students one-on-one throughout their college experience and after graduation to connect their skills, interests, and values to the most rewarding career path. In addition to career counseling, job and internship guidance, and professional development programming the CDO offers students access to many online resources that provide job and internship postings, career exploration assessments, and interview readiness. Informal talks, career-specific panels, graduate school information sessions, and formal symposia also take place throughout the year to help students learn about various professions and connect with Bard alumni/ae and employers.
